René’s work in recent years explores the contemporary and future forms of the urban border between the United States and Mexico. René is a coauthor, with Fiamma Montezemolo and Heriberto Yépez, of the book, Here is Tijuana, published in 2006 by Black Dog, London. In 2018, he co-edited, along with Tito Alegría and Roger Lewis, the commemorative edition of the book A Temporary Paradise: A look at the special landscape of the San Diego Region, originally prepared by Kevin Lynch and Donald Appleyard (COLEF 2018).
His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego, Santa Monica Art Museum, Mexico House at the Embassy of Mexico in Washington, DC, Shenzhen Architecture and Urbanism Biennial 2007 and the Central Society of Architects in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2015, his research on the Experimental Housing Project (PREVI) in Lima, Peru, was part of the exhibition “Latin America in Construction: Architecture 1955-1980” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 2017, he directed Hyperloop West, a group that went on to become a semi-finalist in the global challenge competition organized by Virgin Hyperloop One. In 2017, Rene curated the Tijuana-San Diego exhibit space at the 2017 Architecture and Urbanism Biennial in Seoul, Korea.
Giuseppe Parisi (*1989) graduated in the Architecture and Interior Design department of Aversa, Italy. He founded an Interdisciplinary Office after several experiences with different national and international practices in his hometown. The approach of his work explores the relationship between the Sense, the Form and the Materials. The goal of his idea is to achieve beauty characterized by few targeted choices. The areas of his work include design on various scales, from private houses to residential complexes, planning and requalification of public buildings, offices and accommodation facilities. In 2018 he received the NIB Under 36 Architecture Award and today he is among the young emerging italian architects.

Also as a member in LGBC, I created UnEarth team which is responsible on advocating and raising awareness about sustainable architeture and sustainability in general in Benghazi Libya.
Associated professor at Faculty of Architecture, Silesian University of Technology, Poland. Main areas of scientific interest - landscape design, urban design, theory in architecture. Owner of design studio Pracownia HORTUS. In 1996 obtained his Ph.D. with thesis: Rebuilding of the greenery of densely populated settlements in industrial cities of Upper Silesia, Katowice case study, with the use of computer method of plant selection. In 2014 DSc degree upon monograph: Modelled nature - naturalistic elements in urban planning. Commission for conservation of historical greenery. Author of 54 and co-author of 11 scientific publications (5 individual monographs), 16 scientific notifications, 5 popular books and other publications. Author of 162 landscape architecture designs, 14 expertises and 41 greenery inventories (including 2 inventories of botanical garden in Zabrze). Leading designer of 29 designs of new parks and squares. Main works: Recomposition of greenery of two districts - Ligota and Koszutka in Katowice; Conception plan for Silesian Botanical Garden in Mikolow; co-author of multi-option conception plan for development of postindustrial area of „Turow” brown coal mine, Belchatow; Greenery for Akademicka Street in Gliwice; Hill Antonia Park - zinc spoil heap in Ruda Śląska; park of Silesian Center for Rehabilitation and Health in Rabka; co-author of Greenery design for Copernicus Science Centre in Warszawa - Discovery Park and Garden on the roof.
