The task was to extend an old small construction to a fully functional 3 floor family house (ground floor, 1st floor and attic)
Popis projektu
The existing construction is making part of an inner courtyard of an urban site and has two fire walls with 2 different constructions. The idea was to extend the construction only in height,because extending on the site wasn't allowed by the regulations. Also, I found it important to preserv and highlight the look of the existing construction. In this way,the new stories are ''growing'' out from the old one having large glazed surfaces
Technické informace
The new extention has a fully independent reinforced concrete structure with pillars and beams.
