The project aims to create a specific building typology within an 80,000 m² plot of land that will house six other types of cultural buildings. Located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, the site analysis concluded that there is a significant lack of public spaces for pedestrian social interaction, as people currently lack areas where they can connect. Therefore, the project's concept is to foster social connection through the use of nature and green spaces, which are another aspect sorely lacking in the surrounding area.
The project creates a connection in its program by combining the programs of the other land types and the typology of the botanical garden, allowing many different users to be in the botanical garden, thus creating a social connection through the shelter of nature, creating green spaces that are much lacking in the area.
The project respects the nature of the vegetation, creating pathways and architectural spaces that adapt and blend with nature through a careful selection of materials and forms, thus creating a habitable green lung at the center of the project so that it can be an escape for users of the other 6 typologies of the project
