Opera and Ballet Theatre in Sumgait city

Opera and Ballet Theatre is located on seaside and continues of Sumgait
Boulvard.As world practice it is perfect way to present project with the sea view.Area
including near 127000sq.m.By the opposite part of the building connected with the
main road.
Project is located near the seaside as a different part of boulevard.Two road
connected with the main roads.From the right side area connected with the
pedestrian way which comes from the “Sulh Parki” .As the climate of Sumgait
territory located in the sand side.Distance from the Haydar Aliyev International
Airoport is 56min.by car.Seaside view is complete city style.Because it is the first
public building which is located near the sea.Area landscape design completed by the
climatical trees and decorational bushes.Around the building was designed benches
and fountains for the resting and walking,meeting of people.Another façade part of
the building gives opportunities to the guests and local population of city to look to
the beautiful site view of the Caspian Sea.

Planning of the building.Building consist of 3 floor and beautiful landscape part.As a
main architectural planning of the opera and balet theatre –divided into 3 part.First
part foyer,salon and stage.Stage also divided into 3 part:
-Main stage
-Back stage
-Right stage
-Left stage
In some big theatres used also turning stage for the changing partitions.The most
kinds of theatres architects also use gallery,or exhibitions.
From the outside I have planned Tickets and flower as usual.Back stage was
planned as a big place for personal also for actors.I places dressing rooms for 40
persons and divide it into men and women.Producers room has to be closed to the
stage.Also his assistant room has to be closed to the producers room.Decoration
room has to be closed to the stage cause of performance workers change.When
theatre moves from other place to another all costumes,some decors,performance
accessories they take with their.Because back doors of the stage has to be min 2.50-3
meters.

Technické informace

Construction solution of the project consist of concrete and glass structure.Before
the construction as usual engineers use basement layer min 90-1.20 meters.Actually
carcass and truss construction required for the big concert halls and theatres.Axes
measurements min 6-9meters.Column sizes between 40-80 meters.Columns have to
be min 60meters where trusses will joined.Height of the storeys of Concert halls
approx.3.5-5 meters.
Texture.Texture is the subjective impression that listeners derive from the patterns
in which the sequence of early sound reflections arrives at ther ears.In an excellent

hall,those reflections that arrive soon after the direct sound follow in a more-or- less
uniform sequence.In other halls there may be a considerable interval between the
first and the following reflections may overly dominate.Good texture requires a large
number of early reflections ,reasonably strong in amplitude,uniformly but not
precisely spaced apart , and with no single reflection dominating the others.
