Understanding urban settlements of Ahmedabad and dividing the study into three phases: City at Macro, City at Meso, City at Micro.
Major Understandings at Macro level:
1)Cities do not exist in isolation
2)Cities do not come into existence overnight
3)Cities are not a monolithic entity
4)Cities are made of parts.Each part is different but similar to each other.
5)Urban structure and its network
6)Understanding different parts of the city and how they add up to the whole.
Major understanding at Meso & Micro level :
1)Highlighting Sabarmati.
2)Proposal for Multimodal Hub + Central Business District + Urban Rejuvenation.
3)Connections between macro and micro level form the meso level analysis.
