Unexpected contrast and cityscapes.
Project description
As a urban canvas.
"a white cubic volume appears in perspective on an abstracted field of layered colors" (quote from Archpaper).
High white volumes perimeter the existing structure and are built to such a height as to leave the inside of a monuments Schilleroper-Hamburg poking up as impressive object.
The effect is reminiscent of Giorgio de Chirico’s metaphysical cityscapes.
