Salma Begum is a Bangladeshi Architect. Having been a distinguished student herself throughout her academic career – from being the recipient of Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal in Bachelor of Architecture to double masters from BUET, Bangladesh and KU Leuven, Belgium with distinction, she is now engaged in nurturing next generation architects in the Department of Architecture at Ahasanullah University as an Assistant Professor. She is also a practicing architect – involved in various notable projects both domestically and internationally. She frequently contributes in international architectural publications benefiting the community. Outside architecture world, she is an avid traveler and a photographer.
She is interested in designing public spaces and places. Her research interest is to see how the use of space changes its scenerio with time and politics. For a city , landscape plays an important role. Therefore, how urbanism and landscape can integrate togather to contribute a city is another topic of interest of hers. She is currently engazed as an indpendent researcher where the research tries to forsee the future of public green space: Envisioning a sustainable urban landscape as incubator of citizenship, social cohesion and alternative urban economics – the Case of Dhaka.
As an architect I have been always looking for new trends and ideas in architecture, how technology is changing and evolving architecture helping us to see project with a new perspective.
To serve the people or mass at large by designing sustainable and sensitive Architecture for them.
As an architect, i value and focus on architecture that is adaptable to climate change and tend towards ecolody, sustainability and urbain resilience.
Currently, I am involved in a wide range of architectural project types in Austria and Central Europe. The projects vary in scope, but our specialties lie in architectural management, consulting, design and construction document planning for mobility architecture (rail, bus, automobile, bike and pedestrian interchanges), especially the spaces of interface, which are of architectural significance.
As upcoming AIA Europe president I am excited to respresent an engaged group of international planning professionals with the common goal of promoting educational programs and conferences for practicing architects, emerging professionals, and students alike.

My name is Sheyda Novruzzadeh. I'm Chairman of the Commission on Youth Affairs of the Union of Architects of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2010 I entered the Faculty of Architecture of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, graduated from the University with bachelor's degree in 2014 and the master's degree in 2016. Currently , I'm continue my doctorate degree.
Since 2012, I have been the Assistant to the Chairman of the Management Board of the Union of Architects of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I also work as an architect in the architectural company "El & En".
From 2015 to present I have been the President of the Young Architects and Students Club under the Union of Architects of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During my short architectural activities, I have implemented a number of projects within the architectural company "El & En": Youth Center in the National Park, "High Technology Park" in Pirallahi settlement, Regeneration of historic neighborhoods around Taza Pir Mosque complex, etc.
In 2015, on the occasion of Youth Day, Iwas awarded with the "Youth Prize" by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan for my successful activity in 2014. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 18, 2017, I was awarded the "Progress" medal for her contribution to the development of architecture in Azerbaijan.
James Wright is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and a founding Board Director and current Immediate Past President of the AIA International Region. He is a past Chair of the AIA International Practice Committee Advisory Group, active with the IPCAG since 2011. He is currently very involved with the International Union of Architects (UIA); he led the AIA delegation to the 2017 UIA Assembly in Seoul, and currently serves as UIA Professional Practice Commission Co-Director.
Over his career, Wright has led the design and project management of over US$6 billion of building construction and has conducted innumerable planning and feasibility studies in over 40 countries spanning every continent except Antarctica. With an unusually broad grasp of architectural practice, every year since 1979 he has been engaged in the marketing, managing, design, and delivery of exemplary architectural design services worldwide. His sensitivity to the local culture and traditions of each project setting is strongly reflected in his program-driven building designs.
