My Architectural Focus As a Full Professor of Architecture and Building Technology, my architectural focus is rooted in sustainable innovation, cultural expression, and the advancement of design education. With over 25 years of international experience, my work bridges academic rigor, technological expertise, and artistic vision, allowing me to shape architecture not only as a built reality but as a transformative human experience. My research and teaching emphasize architectural tectonics, phenomenological design, and the integration of smart technologies in creating sustainable and livable communities. I believe in architecture as a multidisciplinary dialogue—one that harmonizes environmental responsibility, social context, and material integrity.I have been honored with several international recognitions, including the UNEP International Silver Award for Liveable Communities and the Research Excellence Award from Taif University, which reflect my commitment to impactful, forward-thinking design. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a certified E-Learning Director, I actively contribute to reimagining architectural education through digital transformation and global collaboration.By serving on the jury of the INSPIRELI AWARDS, I aim to support and inspire the next generation of architects, encouraging bold ideas, meaningful narratives, and sustainable visions for our shared future.

My architectural focus is deeply rooted in urban design and the creation of sustainable environments that prioritize human mental well-being. I strive to enhance cities through innovative placemaking, the development of human-centered smart cities, and the design of restorative environments. By integrating eco-conscious strategies, I aim to promote long-term livability and resilience in urban settings. Furthermore, my expertise in landscape architecture and public space design is centered on fostering environments that support mental health and encourage social interactions. With a strong foundation in neuroscience and architectural and urban psychology, I am particularly interested in how urban settings influence cognitive and emotional responses. Utilizing advanced research techniques such as EEG and VR, I work to advance human-centric design that not only meets the needs of the present but also shapes healthier, more connected communities for the future.

My focus in Architecture since I got my PhD degree in 2017 has been on multiple fields. My main interest is environmental design and energy efficiency in buildings. This appears greatly in my researches and the courses I teach. I am interested in sustainability and how it can be achieved in both architecture and urban levels.
My focus in architecture as well is interior design. I teach interior design course for senior year where I highlight the interior space planning along with the lighting, furniture, materials, textures, design styles and flooring designs.

I also teach architecture design courses where I teach students the design principles, design considerations and site analysis. How to study the form, mass and void to present an integrated design project.
