The sphere of interest of my research is related to the impact of the socio-political situation and its manifestation through the architecture and spatial planning. Special focus is on the post socialist period in the former Yugoslav republics as well as illegal urbanization and forced urbanization, ie the lack of urbanization.

My architectural practice focuses on public and educational buildings, with a strong emphasis on renovation and adaptive reuse. I strive to create spaces that are both innovative and contextually responsive, enhancing community engagement, supporting learning, and improving user experience. Through my projects, I have developed a strong ability to analyze existing structures critically, propose thoughtful interventions, and deliver original design solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and cultural sensitivity.

My architectural focus is on discovering a logical relationship between the city and the building, with a strong emphasis on cultural and contextual relevance—particularly within the urban fabric of Mashhad. I approach architecture through a multidisciplinary lens, integrating urban studies, art, and experimental research to craft context-sensitive, meaningful designs.
