In addition to the Czech Republic, I also design buildings in Indonesia, where several of my projects are currently being under construction. I design buildings of various scales, from small buildings to large ensembles. From residential projects to commercial, cultural, civic and religious buildings. In addition to designing, I also engage in theoretical and research activities. On a theoretical level, I investigate spatial aspects of the impact of architectural space on people and the transformation of spaces in the course of history across different cultures. In my research, I focus on the typology of residential buildings and sustainable development. And that mainly by the typology of townhouses, as a certain way of urban living. I lecture about my projects, theories and research at universities, conferences, debates all over the world. www.erikpetrus.com

Currently, I am working as a senior lecturer in the Interior Design Department at Raffles College of Higher Education. Before, I worked as an adjunct lecturer at NYIT, Abu Dhabi, and teaching assistant and instructor at Istanbul Technical University (I.T.U) for eleven years. Throughout these experiences, I have been responsible for the courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. I hold an undergraduate degree in Architecture from ITU . Additionally, I was awarded my Ph.D. by the Department of History of Art at ITU. I completed my Masters' degree in Industrial Design at ITU in 2007. My current research interests lie in a wide range of interior design topics; such as furniture design, adaptive reuse, cinematic space, interior design history, spatial narrative, domestic interiors, cultural aspects, handcrafting, and semiotics. Having an architecture degree allowed me to deal with environmental factors and to understand building structure, technics, and logic. My industrial design master's degree helped me to understand the smaller scale and develop a human-centered design approach.

He graguated from Kunstakademie Duesseldorf with Distinction in Germany, where appointed as the Meisterschueler by architect Max Dudler.

He was awarded ‘Mercedes-benz Junge Kunst Award’ from the germany(Metropolregion Rhein-Ruhr), ‚FAMAB Young Talent Award 2017′ finalist in germany. and  with the notable Silver prize A‘ International Design Award in Italia at Architecture, Building and Structure Design Competition.

El mehdi Belyasmine

Born in the middle of cultural diversity in Morocco, El Mehdi Belyasmine grew up in the French High School in El Jadida, Morocco, during his childhood but also in a family of artists and teachers where his father was also an architect, he was focused primarily in drawings to find the passion which is architecture and design research during his studies in Belgium (Bachelor and M.Arch II) and Switzerland (One-Year M.Arch I) with a summerschool in Brooklyn, USA.  His ambitions led him to start his path career in Doha, Qatar where he collaborated with Albaker Architects in cultural field before being moved in Mexico City in 2015 to work for Fernando Romero Enterprise/FR-EE in various projects at cultural and urban scale through design research, isometric diagrams and 3D models. From June 2016 to February 2018, he was appointed to lead design research and conception development through collaboration with Arroyo Solis Agraz Arquitectos in various projects of different scales from house to urbanism. His dynamism, open mind and vivacity enhance his interest in architectural design that operates at the intersection of culture, sustainability and technology. Open to challenges, he joined Estudio Lamela arquitectos/LAM for new challenges such as big infrastructures like airports.

Katarina Andjelkovic
Katarina has designed and built, in full authorship and co-authorship, more than 36 projects, including National project supported by the government of Serbia in full authorship, and won numerous awards for her architectural and urban design in full and co-authorship. Areas of expertise: structuring of design problems, harmonization of technology and program requirements in public buildings; urban design and planning, feasibility study, reconstruction projects, interior design, residential buildings and hospital design, architectural design for building permit, preliminary urban planning and architectural design for multifunctional city center. Special focus is on innovative design thinking, impact of filmmaking on new ways of design thinking, experimental architecture, final presentation and 3D modelling. Her research encompasses topics in architectural theory, history and architectural design, film and media studies, visual culture. Katarina’s specific interest is in: the relationship between architecture theory and the design process in the urban environment, teaching-research framework in architecture, architectural design theory and methodologies, theory of architecture [19-20-21st century], with a special focus on innovative and artistic strategies in architecture and urban research.
