Project idea

The idea of the project lies in the fact that a new building is inserted in the historical building with preservation of the nearest altitude and a module, with a new public function.

Project description

Since the place is located in the historic district, it was decided to keep the location of the nearby buildings in the functional part and to carry out the restoration of the facade. The center is designed for a short-term exhibition of various expositions with 5 large exhibition halls and masterful and lecture halls or universal halls. The main task was to create a space for the development of society and holding cultural events in the historical area of the city in compliance with the rhythm of life, the module, the nature of the existing area for a coherent perception.

Technical information

The building consists of 3 blocks. 2 of them are historic buildings with a longitudinal and transverse system of load-bearing walls, and the new one is frame construction, with monolithic re-casting and trusses, to support a console of 3 and 4 floors.
