Project idea

Our job was to study the history of the republic.
We observe more important events and we are inspired by the multiple events throughout the history of the country.
The final result, from the events of the story generated in a central space but at the same time fragmented.
The story is unique with intermediate events that characterize the town.
We design with concepts and sensations to express what is analyzed in the Czech Republic.

Project description

Consider the proper use of the walls that allow us to mark perspectives and manage the circulation of public, semi-public and private spaces.
From a symbolic point of view, and from the functional, according to the characteristics of the program of the embassy in which we have public, semi-public and private spaces strongly marked, the walls we can recommend that privacy or "opening" as necessary .
We carry the characteristics of the walls before the equipment data to the structure.
From the point of view of sustainable design, the walls are also designed to take better advantage of the spaces and provide shadows in the necessary hours. The project is covered on the most unfavorable climatic facades by a double skin that has a design that symbolizes the culture of Ethiopia.

Technical information

Reinforced concrete walls, pillars and steel beams are the structural elements of the project.
we use a punctual system combining the load-bearing walls that although serve for privacy, mark circulation and to make the building sustainable.
