Project idea

O projeto para o Complexo da Embaixada consiste na relação entre a natureza de cada país, com base na aplicação de material em vermelho ocre referente às construções de pedra da Etiópia e a aplicação de vegetação nos jardins que se referem aos grandes jardins dos Palácios Tchecos. Isso irá trazer a composição e relação entre as fachadas movimentadas dos edifícios e os espaços externos. Podendo qualificar a paisagem do local em que o complexo se insere.


The project for the Embassy Complex consists of the relationship between the nature of each country, based on the application of ocher red material referring to the stone constructions of Ethiopia and the application of vegetation in the gardens that refer to the large gardens of the Czech Palaces. This will bring about the composition and relationship between the busy facades of the buildings and the outer spaces. Being able to qualify the landscape of the place where the complex is inserted.

Project description

O complexo da embaixada foi organizado de forma a criar pátios e jardins externos que possam fazer a relação com as edificações e seu material, além disso, cada fachada de cada edifício possuem painéis móveis com vegetação em algumas aberturas do eixo leste e oeste para que traga também o sentido de movimentação e a ligação com os jardins externos.
A cobertura dos edifícios possui característica plana somente com uma pequena inclinação para escoamento da água, a área oficial e consular se localiza na perimetria do terreno para fácil acesso e controle de entrada, as áreas residenciais em uma parte desse mesmo terreno sendo que as habitações Etíopes se concentram do outro lado da rua projetada, enquanto a área técnica e recreativa se encontram na área central do terreno para melhor controle do espaço e acesso à estes.

The embassy complex was organized in such a way as to create courtyards and external gardens that can make the relation with the buildings and their material, in addition, each façade of each building possess movable panels with vegetation in some openings of the east and west axis so that it brings also the sense of movement and the connection with the external gardens.
The coverage of the buildings has a flat feature only with a small slope for water drainage, the official and consular area is located in the perimeter of the land for easy access and entry control, the residential areas in a part of that same land being the Ethiopian dwellings are concentrated on the other side of the designed street, while the technical and recreational area are in the central area of ​​the ground for better control of the space and access to them.

Technical information

O projeto estabelece informações técnicas sobre a composição da implantação geral do complexo, bem como a setorização sobre cada ambiente solicitado e meios de circulação. Demonstra também a tipologia estrutural e o detalhamento técnico do painel aplicado nas aberturas dos edifícios, e uma tipologia arquitetônica referenciada pela residência do embaixador.


The project establishes technical information on the composition of the overall implementation of the complex, as well as the sectorization on each requested environment and means of circulation. It also shows the structural typology and the technical detail of the panel applied to the openings of the buildings.
