Project idea

I wanted to have a long "wall" to block out the activities behind it, and a central axis to enhance the sense of order and ritual. Therefore, I designed the south facade of the Official Embassy Building into long strips. Allow the entrance, Assembly room, and Representative garden to be located on the central axis. I hope the space on the axis can be variable and magnificent. I designed the two walls of the Assembly room as doors, and the space on the axis can be integrated, changed and become wonderful.

Project description

For security, the south side is designed to be long and the Official Embassy Building like a wall, blocking the building behind. Behind this wall is the assembly room, the garden, which forms an axis with the entrance, enhancing the ceremonial feel of the space. The garden is surrounded by three sides of the Residence , Embassy staff apartment and the Official Embassy Building, making it the best view of the whole site. When the doors of the assembly room are all open, the entire assembly room and even the entrance hall can be integrated into the garden.Building for local workforce and Consular and visa office are located on the edge of the site, enhancing the security of the embassy area. The building adopt steel structure, saving energy and protecting environment .The facade is made with Cement exterior wall hanging board and divided into uniform vertical strips with glass and grilles between them.It is both classical and modern.
