Project idea
Since the site is a typical inner-city block enclosed from three sides, the idea was to bring a light into the interior through two atriums and a backyard with areas that could be used while taking a break from work. Another challenge was a fire escape that has to be located inside of a building; however, behind the front facade. The angle of the front facade is supposed to let the winter sun come into the building, but block the strong Australian summer sun to overheat the building.

a co-working space for are independent entrepreneurs at the beginning of their careers (45-60 members and 5 professional support staff)

situated in Brisbane, three levels, two atriums, backyard
60 workstations
printers, kitchenette and toilets on each level
space for stuff, storage and technical support
structure is skelet system made of concrete columns
