Arch. Burak Pekoğlu (Turkey) – Founder BINAA. BINAA is a design and research studio, that was founded by Burak Pekoglu in 2012. The main objective of the studio is to generate conversations along the themes of Building, Innovation, Arts and Architecture with an exceptional cross-disciplinary collaborative model, characterized by the strong interaction among Research, Design and Execution.

Last two years I have worked  at ARCASIA to connect Asian architects to other regions of the world.

My bigest aim is to rethink the architectural tradition.

The idea of Kenneth Framptons critical regionalism is close to me.

Architects should give useful answers to the challenge of environmental changes.

I have been leading the urban design studio at the Department of Architecture at COMSATS University Islamabad since 2014. The studio involves critical study, analysis and re-development of a local urban area in the light of urban design theories and urban models.

As part of this studio, we have been able to document, study, anaylse parts of Islamabad in terms of linkages, access, visual quality, urban morphology, social fabric, cultural context, ebvironmental scenarios, land use distribution, grid planning parameters and infrastructure. In coming years we are hoping to document all of Islamabad for archiving and record.

I have currently part of a research project to document and study the occurrence of informal businesses in street life in light of Islamabad. Though my attachment to the architecture design of buildings

Award winning architect and engineer from Italy working across countries and cultures. Currently based in the Netherlands, he works as an architect also at OMA/Rem Koolhaas. Prior to joining OMA, Andrea worked at Kengo Kuma & Associates in Japan and at RCR Arquitectes in Spain.

Young Italian architect and engineer, currently working as an architect in Rotterdam.

Still a student, she won an international competition to build a school in Ghana. Widely published, her project received several notable awards and in 2017 it has been named by Designboom as one of the top 10 school projects in the world. Winner of Inspireli awards "Wings of the future" in 2018.
