To design a functional and aesthetically appealing two-storey private cottage for a modern family, combining elements of classic and Scandinavian styles while meeting specific spatial and practical needs.

Project description

This interior design project focuses on a private two-storey cottage with a total area of 135 m², located in the Kyiv region. The house is tailored for a family of three (two adults and a child) and a pet. The first floor includes functional zones such as a hallway, kitchen-living room, home office, utility rooms, and bathroom. The second floor comprises bedrooms, guest room, children’s room, bathrooms, and wardrobes. The design embraces modern classic with Scandinavian accents — light tones, natural textures (wood, stone), minimal decor, and emphasis on lighting and textiles. Special attention was paid to ergonomic zoning, storage, and maintaining existing structural constraints.
