Project idea

The project involves the design of a hotel complex in Frombork, a small town located on the Vistula Lagoon in Poland. The concept was based on the idea of creating a group of interconnected buildings, forming the impression of a small village or settlement gathered around an internal garden. This urban layout fosters a sense of intimacy, community, and tranquility, while harmoniously integrating the development into the surrounding landscape. The design aims to respect the local scale and character, providing guests with a unique experience that combines privacy with a shared, central green space.

Project description

The project includes the design of a hotel complex and an urban planning concept. The development consists of several interconnected buildings, arranged to evoke the atmosphere of a small village or settlement, centered around an internal garden. The urban layout ensures both privacy and a sense of community, while the technical part of the project covers all necessary infrastructure, building systems, and utilities to ensure full functionality and integration into the local environment.

Technical information

The project consists of a hotel complex designed as a composition of several interconnected buildings. The main building includes the hotel’s reception and a restaurant, which serves both hotel guests and external visitors. Four additional pavilions serve as accommodation units, offering rooms of various standards. Selected high-standard rooms feature access to private pools overlooking the lagoon and surrounding wetlands.

A significant component of the complex is a public wellness & spa area, as well as a conference room, allowing for the organization of events and business meetings. The entire layout is complemented by thoughtfully designed public spaces and small architecture elements, including walking paths, rest areas, benches, and water features that blend the architecture with the natural landscape.

The architectural design emphasizes harmony with the environment, offering comfort, privacy, and direct contact with nature, while maintaining openness to both the local community and visiting tourists.
