Project Idea: “Living Office — A Space That Breathes”
Problem (Introduction):
Many modern office spaces remain cold and non-functional, which negatively affects productivity, emotional well-being, and the team’s internal environment.
People spend 8–10 hours a day at work, often in sterile, uninspiring environments lacking greenery, natural light, warmth, or spatial flexibility.
Project Goal:
To create a warm, comfortable, biophilic office interior that not only serves its functional purposes but also supports emotional well-being, concentration, and creativity.
Design Concept: “An Office That’s a Living Environment”
Total area — 450 m²
The layout aims to provide zoning without isolation, using natural materials, warm lighting, and abundant greenery.
Functional Zones:
Reception — the first visual impression of the space, featuring vertical greenery, soft ambient lighting, and natural wood finishes.
Snack/coffee point — with a bar counter, shelves with live plants, and standing areas for casual conversations.
Lounge zone — poufs, soft sofas, semi-transparent partitions, indirect lighting, and large potted plants.
Work zone — an open space with acoustic panels, modular desks, and shelving with greenery acting as natural dividers.
Brainstorming zone — a creative room with whiteboard walls, mobile furniture, and a well-balanced mix of light and color.
Meeting room — glass-walled with curtains for privacy, minimalist yet cozy.
Presentation area — equipped with a projector and screen, benches or transformable seating, flexible enough to host events.
Restrooms — with wooden textures, backlit mirrors, and small decorative plants.
Kitchen — bright and functional, with built-in appliances and cabinetry, possibly an island or central counter.
2 elevators — designed in the same aesthetic, featuring mirrors and soft lighting.
Design Features:
Biophilic approach — integration of plants in every zone: pots, vertical gardens, moss panels, terrariums.
Warm color palette — sand, olive, beige, light wood, and graphite accents.
Natural materials — wood veneer, linen, matte metal, and unpolished ceramics.
Flexible furniture — mobile and transformable for multifunctional use.
Layered lighting — general, task, and decorative lighting for mood and function.
Expected Outcomes:
A healthy, uplifting microclimate that enhances workplace well-being.
A strong visual identity and professional image for the company.
Increased productivity and reduced burnout.
A space where people want to be — not just to work, but to feel good.
