Project idea

This design combines minimalist modern architecture with Zen-inspired elements to create a harmonious and tranquil space. The use of bold red accents, curved structures, and natural textures aims to balance energy with serenity, while the integration of traditional chinese motifs, such as shoji screens and nature-inspired wall art, fosters a deep connection to tradition. The spiral staircase acts as a focal point, symbolizing movement and flow, while the furniture and decorative choices encourage calm social interaction. The emphasis is on balance, contrast, and continuity within a sophisticated environment.

Project description

The JADE Resort Hotel project focuses on creating a luxurious and welcoming hospitality environment. The design includes a reception and waiting area that offer a smooth and elegant arrival experience. Key social spaces include a restaurant and bar, a lounge with lounge bar, and a café with café bar—each tailored to different guest experiences while maintaining a cohesive design language. The layout emphasizes comfort, functionality, and visual harmony, reflecting the resort's refined identity.

Technical information

The construction of the JADE Resort Hotel interior is guided by a concept rooted in Yin and Yang philosophy and traditional Chinese cultural aesthetics, expressed through a balanced composition of color, form, and material.
Key structural and decorative elements include jade columns that serve as symbolic and physical anchors throughout the space, and golden wall cladding that adds a sense of luxury and harmony. Red glass bricks are integrated as partitions and feature walls, contributing both transparency and cultural symbolism.
The design incorporates metal bar nets and gold accents as recurring elements, used in ceiling treatments, dividers, and decorative screens to reflect traditional patterns in a modern interpretation. The material palette—red, black, white, and gold—is carefully chosen to represent balance, energy, purity, and prosperity, in alignment with the Yin Yang concept.
