Experience the integration of art, gastronomy and music where people can share their experiences and find an escape place from the hectic pace of daily life. Muse is seamlessly blending interior and exterior sspaces.Surrounded by nature, the building embraces the greenery creating an escape within the chaotic university.
This design project reimagines an existing building on a university campus, transforming it into a multi-functional cultural space named "MUSE." The project emphasizes adaptive reuse by retaining key structural elements while introducing new spatial arrangements to support cafe, exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative activities. The concept centers around circulation and interaction, creating fluid transitions between different zones such as exhibition spaces, co-working areas, and public gathering points. MUSE aims to serve as a dynamic and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, learning, and community engagement.
The intervention involves partial demolition of the existing structure, with careful preservation of selected components. The layout is organized across two floors, including designated zones for multi-purpose exhibitions, meetings, a kitchen, restrooms, storage, and staff areas. The design features orthographic views, detailed sectional drawings (AA, BB, CC), lighting plans, and construction details. Material selections include MDF panels, metal profiles, and impact blockers, emphasizing both durability and ease of assembly. Circulation diagrams and zoning plans guide user flow and spatial interaction, ensuring both functional efficiency and architectural clarity.
