The concept is developed through the manipulation of structural elements – columns and beams – creating a dynamic composition where each floor moves in a controlled manner. These movements create deep loggias and terraces, which enrich the spatial experience of the inhabitants. The building resembles a collapsed “Jenga”, where each block contributes to a visual rhythm balanced between emptiness and mass.
Located in the renowned Dardania neighborhood in Prishtina, this multi-apartment building is an example of contemporary architecture integrated with urban sensibility. The building includes 42 residential units, organized on 6 upper floors, a ground floor containing business premises, as well as a basement, which serves as auxiliary spaces.
A distinctive feature of the building is the presence of loggias that create a terrazzo shape, which are inspired by the pillar-beam structure. This approach allows for the creation of functional outdoor spaces for some residential units, adding elements of comfortable living and a closer connection to the outdoor environment. The loggias not only enrich the architectural experience, but also give the building a dynamic and modern visual identity.
The exterior of the building is highlighted with a bold color, with pigmented concrete material that clearly distinguishes it from the surrounding buildings and makes it a reference point in the neighborhood. This stylistic choice reflects a new architectural spirit, making the building attractive to residents and passersby alike.
The construction of this building is made in the skeletal construction system with concrete.
