Archiscope is a Sustainable Architectural Institute designed to empower future generations of designers to learn, innovate, and apply green building techniques. Located in Smouha, Alexandria, the project aims to transform education into a hands-on experience a “Living Lab” where architectural knowledge merges with practice. It responds directly to local environmental challenges, creating a space that is both a center for education and a model for future sustainable architecture.
The project comprises a Sustainable Architectural Institute designed to serve as a center for education, innovation, and application of green design principles. It includes specialized spaces such as workshops, classrooms, studios, administrative offices, a conference hall, a cafeteria, and interactive outdoor areas. The design focuses on creating a dynamic, adaptable, and environmentally responsive environment that prepares future designers to respond to climate and ecological challenges in their practice.

Site Area: 17,000 m²
Built-up Area: Approximately 4,500 m²
Structural System: Post-tensioned flat slabs with steel-reinforced cores and V-shaped columns for cantilevered elements
Construction Materials: Reinforced Concrete, Steel, Low-e Glazing, Sustainable Timber Louvers
Design Features: Naturally ventilated spaces, solar shading elements, double-glazed façade, green roofs, and photovoltaic panels
