فكرة مشروع "Zrostay Center" تنبع من رؤية تهدف إلى تمكين الشباب وتعزيز النمو المجتمعي من خلال بيئة معمارية مستدامة وقابلة للتكيف. يستلهم المشروع اسمه من الكلمة الأوكرانية "Zrostay" والتي تعني "النمو" أو "الازدهار"، ليعكس التوازن بين الإنسان والبيئة.
يرتكز المشروع على مبدأين أساسيين: الأول هو إعادة استخدام المواد المحلية المتبقية من المباني المتضررة، مما يضيف الطابع المحلي إلى التصميم ويقلل من النفايات. والثاني هو قابلية التكيف، حيث تم تصميم المساحات باستخدام أثاث وجدران قابلة للتحريك تسمح بتغيير الاستخدامات لتتناسب مع مختلف الأنشطة.
المشروع هو تجسيد لفكرة إعادة الإعمار الواعي بيئياً والثقافي، ويهدف إلى تقديم نموذج يمكن تكراره في مناطق ما بعد الأزمات.

English:
The idea of the Zrostay Center originates from a vision to empower youth and foster community growth through a sustainable and adaptable architectural environment. The project is named after the Ukrainian word "Zrostay," meaning "to grow" or "to flourish," symbolizing harmony between people and the environment.
It is built upon two core principles: the reuse of local leftover materials from damaged buildings, adding cultural context and reducing waste, and adaptability through movable furniture and partitions that allow spatial reconfiguration.
The project represents a conscious approach to ecological and cultural reconstruction, offering a replicable model for post-crisis environments.

يهدف المشروع إلى إنشاء مركز مجتمعي متعدد الاستخدامات يستوعب الأنشطة التعليمية، الثقافية، والحرفية. يتضمن الحل التصميمي مساحات مرنة يمكن إعادة تشكيلها بسهولة لاستضافة ورش عمل، محاضرات، ومناطق عمل مشتركة، بالإضافة إلى مقهى ومساحات بيع بالتجزئة.
يعتمد المشروع على مواد معاد تدويرها بالكامل وتقنيات بناء منخفضة التكلفة لتوفير حل عملي ومبتكر في البيئات المتضررة من الأزمات. كما يدمج التصميم عناصر مستوحاة من الثقافة الأوكرانية مثل أنماط التطريز التقليدي، لربط الماضي بالحاضر.

English:
The project aims to establish a multifunctional community center that accommodates educational, cultural, and craft-related activities. The design solution includes flexible spaces that can be easily reconfigured to host workshops, seminars, co-working zones, as well as a café and retail areas.
It relies on fully recycled materials and low-cost construction techniques to provide a practical and innovative solution for post-crisis environments. The design also integrates elements inspired by Ukrainian culture, such as traditional embroidery patterns, to bridge the past with the present.

يستخدم المشروع نظام بناء مسبق الصنع يعتمد على وحدات خرسانية معاد تدويرها من أنقاض المباني المتضررة. الجدران الداخلية والأسقف مصنوعة من ألواح "Reboard" المصنوعة من عبوات الحليب المضغوطة، والمثبتة لتسهيل الفك وإعادة الاستخدام.
يتم دمج ألواح الطاقة الشمسية لتوليد الكهرباء، وسقف أخضر لتحسين العزل الحراري. كما يتميز المبنى بواجهة مقاومة للعوامل الجوية مصنوعة من مواد معاد تدويرها بنسبة 95%.
تشمل الأثاثات المصنوعة محليًا مواد مثل الزجاج المعاد تدويره، والبلاستيك المضغوط (Ecobricks)، والبلاط المستعمل من مبانٍ مجاورة.

English:
The project utilizes a prefabricated construction system based on recycled concrete modules salvaged from damaged structures. Interior walls and ceilings are made from "Reboard" panels—compressed milk cartons—secured for easy disassembly and reuse.
Solar panels are integrated for electricity generation, alongside a green roof for enhanced thermal insulation. The building features a weather-resistant façade made of 95% recycled materials.
Furniture is locally crafted from materials such as recycled glass, compressed plastic (Ecobricks), and reclaimed tiles from nearby buildings.
