Project idea

The projects aim we want to reach is to find new function, new representable role in the area a give it back its former importance. Right now is this builing in a devasted state, new use as a city hall with a comunity center and a café will certainly give it new energy. One of the principles was to renovate the castles historic appearance. It gained a representative entrance by restoring sala terrena on the first floor, also the projects focuses greatly on restoring the historic facades according to the historic photos.

Project description

New function and appearance gave this castle back its importance. Changing windows for historic copies put the wholbuilding all togehter as well as the other aspects of the facade. the main facade are more strong, with a green colored second floor. first floor funtions as a base for the cornices. The less exposed fasades are much more simple.

Technical information

the project tries to respects as much of original structures as possible, the building gains a small extension with an elevator and a staircase to prevent affecting the ceiling structures.
