"Lagom" is a Swedish philosophy meaning "just right" or "moderation", where the main emphasis is on achieving balance and harmony in life.
Balance in everything. Work should be balanced with personal life and leisure.
Social harmony in a society where cooperation and respect for each other are of great importance.
How often do students prefer to spend time outside rather than in the university lobby?Only during the lunch break to have a snack. This is not surprising, since the university park consists of a lawn, trees and parking. The main idea of the project is to create a space where you want to be. A place where you relax body and soul, enjoy nature and the company of friends.
The existing parking lot is being upgraded: it is now a semi-underground parking lot with an operational roof. There are social and group recreation areas, as well as areas of static and dynamic art objects.
Speaking of art objects, it should be noted that all dynamic sculptures are related to the theme of balance. You can interact with them: touch, rock, turn.
Another feature of the landscape design is the glass columns located throughout the territory. They complement the composition, bringing a play of light and color to the project.
We go down the stairs to the "green" part of the square. There are active and short-term recreation areas, as well as dynamic art objects. Here you can play table tennis, ride unusual swings and just relax from the hustle and bustle on benches and in the shade of pergolas.
The finishing materials for the project are: colored plaster, glass "Wave", asphalt concrete, painted concrete and colored rubber coating.
The colors for the landscaping are calm, as the color and light accent are glass columns. The project uses mint, beige and gray shades.
The project was created based on:analyses of infrastructure, traffic patterns, and pedestrian conditions, as well as local regulations and climate.
Landscaping, inspired by the "Lagom" philosophy, seeks to immerse a person in a natural, natural environment and help them stop for a moment, enjoy what surrounds them. It is a symbiosis of soul and body, a balance of external and internal, architecture and urbanism. Everything came together to create a competent design solution for environmental improvement.
