Project idea

This project was developed for a children's medical facility with a focus on supporting the psycho-emotional needs of patients across different age groups. The design aimed to create a safe, comforting, and engaging environment that helps reduce anxiety and promotes a sense of well-being. Age-appropriate color schemes, playful visual elements, and intuitive spatial organization were used to support both emotional comfort and functional efficiency. The goal was to design a space that not only meets medical standards but also actively contributes to the healing process.

Project description

The scope of the project included the design of the entrance and reception area with an integrated cloakroom, a four-bed patient room, and a doctor’s consultation office. Each zone was carefully planned to balance functionality with emotional comfort, ensuring ease of navigation, privacy, and a welcoming atmosphere for both children and their caregivers.

Technical information

For the research and development phase, Children's Clinical Hospital No. 7 was selected as the case study.
