Project idea

The project is inspired by the character of the site, aiming to blend with its surroundings while standing out as a city landmark. Two towers are placed in a poetic alignment, one in front of the other, creating a sense of movement and dialogue. A green space lies between them. Around the towers, low buildings gently merge with the ground, forming a landscape-like base that anchors the project and connects it to its context

Project description

The project is envisioned as a vibrant and integrated urban hub, beginning with a welcoming public plaza framed by restaurants and shops that activate the ground level and invite community interaction. Rising from this base, the larger tower hosts residential apartments, set above a sports and wellness center designed to support the health and lifestyle of its residents. The smaller tower accommodates flexible office spaces, while beneath it, a kindergarten provides a safe and convenient learning space for both the neighboring schools and families living on-site. A dedicated community center is also integrated into the design, offering shared spaces and services for surrounding residents.

The positioning of the towers was carefully informed by sun path studies, ensuring that shadows fall strategically over a nearby football field, while preserving sunlight for adjacent housing. This thoughtful placement reflects the project’s overall approach—balancing density with openness, privacy with community, and architecture with environment.

Technical information

The two high-rise towers are built around *reinforced concrete cores*, providing stability and housing vertical circulation. These cores are paired with an *RC frame system*, supporting the main structure of the towers. Surrounding them, the iconic half-pyramid-shaped envelope is conceived as an *independent skin*, structurally detached from the main tower, and supported by two *inclined concrete columns*that emphasize the dynamic geometry of the design.

*Waffle slabs*are used throughout the towers and the underground parking levels, allowing for increased spans and reduced structural depth, while enhancing flexibility in space planning. The lower buildings commercial, community, and recreational functions—are constructed using a *steel frame system*, enabling *large column-free spaces*and a more open, adaptable interior layout.
