Project idea

Benih Penambang, a project that is dedicated, inspirated, motivated to relive the cultures, traditions & to find the lost Identity of Pasir Penambang, located in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia. A small Sub-Urban area, a place not known by many and a place that was never to be revived due to it's lack of Youth's & job opportunities. The issue 1, it's located and placed in a farming zones, but no farming nor any agricultural work is based or active in the area. The issue 2, no attractions that allows more youth's and Malaysian citizens to recognize the place itself. The issue 3, lack's many job opportunities with very low economic system in Pasir Penambang, compared to Sekinchan & Tanjong Karang. The issue 4, Flooding's. And Final issue 5, Covid-19. Due to all of this issue's that was found during the visit. Benih Penambang, was specially and originally designed to provide multiple outdoor areas, with rising platforms. Inspired from the Organic structures, that came from the concept of Photosynthesis. In order to inhale the people/locals, the building first must stand out more and provide community services in order to exhale out educations and inspirations. The culture of Pasir Penambang, it's not likely like other cities or areas, the locals are more towards outdoor activities rather then indoor. As it's a small town located near villages such as the Fishermen houses. Benih Penambang not only provides building's and job opportunities, Benih penambang as well provides outdoor activities and Jetty's, in-corporating together with the fishermen's and River cruise, allowing the users to use the area openly without any limitations. Making the locals having 1 strong area to gather and re-live their young or old lives, making Benih Penambang "The Identity of Pasir Penambang".

Technical information

The construction method for Benih Penambang, is majorly and widely used from Timber & Bamboo. As a Steel & Concrete is also used for minor constructions such as Columns & Arch connections.
