Project idea

This project presents an advanced architectural concept inspired by the essence of the Porsche brand. The showroom is designed to be more than a conventional display space, it offers a complete spatial experience that embodies performance, precision, and innovation. The central design feature is a soaring, dynamic race track that rises vertically from the ground, symbolizing motion, progress, and speed. This element serves as the architectural core, fusing brand identity with contemporary design expression.

The project focuses on delivering a sensory journey for visitors by harmonizing form and function. The interior spaces are flexibly organized to highlight the displayed vehicles and enhance user interaction with the architecture. It also includes an environmental car exhibition and a suspended structural system that reflects technical finesse and executional precision.

The main objective is to translate Porsche’s design values into an architectural landmark that communicates speed, fluidity, and innovation, resulting in a showroom that stands out within the urban fabric and elevates the user experience.

Project description

The project doesn’t have a specific location or climate context, as it focuses primarily on the brand’s imagery and the functional organization of space.
This project proposes a comprehensive architectural solution for a Porsche showroom that fuses the brand’s visual identity with contemporary architectural principles. The scope of the design includes the development of the masterplan, elevations, and interior spatial organization through a cohesive functional and formal approach that reflects Porsche’s core values: innovation, precision, and fluidity.

The project features a dynamic entrance element that serves as the focal point: a vertically rising racetrack-like feature highlighted with lighting elements inspired by Porsche’s iconic rear tail lights, reinforcing the building’s dynamic and branded expression. The scope also encompasses the design of the main exhibition halls, an environmental car display area, visitor experience zones, and adminstration, all supported by a lightweight suspended structural system that enables spatial fluidity and reinforces the showroom’s technical elegance in line with Porsche’s engineering philosophy.

Technical information

Suspension Structure System: The axonometric diagram illustrates a suspended canopy supported by a tensioned structure, likely referencing the engineering finesse that Porsche values.

Plans and Sections: They reveal fluid interior zoning and layered circulation, offering both interactive exhibitions and exclusive car display areas.

Site Integration: The green buffer zone and circular ramp create a calm yet impressive entrance sequence, offering dramatic views of the building’s form as visitors approach.
