Project idea

Vellum is a dynamic, high-standard office building designed to provide employees with comfortable working conditions at computer stations throughout the entire day, thanks to the inclusion of numerous relaxation and leisure areas.

Project description

The shape of the building has been carefully adapted to the surrounding urban fabric, maintaining proper daylight access and eliminating the shading of neighboring structures. Its soft, rounded forms reference the natural systems and organic shapes typically found in nature.

The dynamic character of the building emerges from its functional concept — to ensure balanced, year-round sunlight exposure, a system of perforated facade panels has been implemented, controlled by a modern BMS (Building Management System). Additionally, the eastern facade incorporates suspended concrete panels, emphasizing the building’s multifunctionality, attractiveness, and readiness to meet the needs of both contemporary workspaces and their users — both inside and out.

Technical information

The construction of the building is made of reinforced concrete. The dynamic faсade panels are made of perforated aluminium, while the static panels are made of concrete.
