PROJECT TITLE:
The Circle of Knowledge – A Galaxy-Inspired Learning Ecosystem
The concept takes inspiration from the galaxy and celestial systems, embodying the idea that just as planets revolve in orbit, knowledge and learning revolve around discovery and interaction. The design aims to create an innovative and futuristic educational environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and exploration.
"In Galaxy has many object ,but we are known short off object - In School has many memories and knowledge,( student gains memories and knowledge but not more ). So,the School is place for student to gain Knowledge through their campus like galaxy and that's the design should be galaxical theme."
'GALAXY WITHIN GALAXY'
This galaxy-themed school campus envisions learning as an infinite journey through space, where each student is a voyager navigating through knowledge planets, guided by light, exploration, and curiosity. The design seamlessly integrates science, emotion, and space to form a dynamic learning ecosystem for the future.
Galactic Core as the Assembly Zone: The center of the galaxy symbolizes the main gathering area or assembly space.
It serves as the central hub where all student interactions converge—representing unity and core knowledge exchange.
Orbital Learning Blocks:
Each planet symbolizes a different academic block or functional zone of the school (e.g., science, arts, library).
These blocks are planned in an orbital pattern, revolving around the core, promoting movement and exploration.
Color and Mood Influence:
The stars and planets emit vibrant colors, which are translated into the school’s color scheme.
These colors aim to enhance student mood, promoting emotional and psychological well-being through thoughtful design.
PLANNING AND ZONING:
Bubble Diagram:
Represents the functional interconnections between learning spaces:
Classrooms, Labs, Library, Recreation, and Outdoor Areas.
Zones are planned to encourage both collaborative and independent learning.
Solar System-Inspired Layout:
A solar system planning approach is used, where paths, buildings, and landscapes follow orbital principles.
Creates natural movement across the campus mimicking the motion of celestial bodies.
Star Pattern Routes:
Routes and pathways throughout the campus follow constellation patterns, symbolizing connectivity and discovery.
DESIGN FEATURES:
Exterior and Interior Design:
Exteriors mimic galaxy elements like spirals and nebulas.
Interiors have curved, organic forms, creating futuristic spatial experiences.
Gravity and Spiral Wave Influence:
Use of spiral layouts and curved forms mimicking gravitational waves and wormholes.
These forms are applied in pathways, ceiling designs, and amphitheater seating.
Common Amphitheater and Nodes:
A central amphitheater acts as the common node—where paths intersect, symbolizing knowledge exchange.
It is based on gravity pull down method
Nodes represent key interactive points for activities and learning engagement.
Library pathway should be design based on 'Time Travel pattern'
KEY REPRESENTATIONS:
Wormholes: Represent shortcut connections across blocks for dynamic circulation.
North Star: A guiding landmark feature (North Side Facade) to symbolize direction, consistency, and ambition.
Planetary Trails: Represent different academic disciplines with connecting pink/orange bands as knowledge paths.
Material used in building: Brick , Concrete, Glass, wood louvers
Vernacular design : Courtyard and jalli wall
Facade design: Colour Fins (Based on star and planets vibrant colours)
