Project idea

The main idea of this project is to plan and design a sustainable high school. School being the place for main education for the future of students, making a school interactive is needed.

Project description

The project consists of admin block separately, two main school blocks for the higher secondary and secondary students. Also consists of laboratory block along with multipurpose hall and a separate library block.

Technical information

The construction of the building is mainly done with "hempcrete" and plastering on it, making the building sustainable. Roofs of the building are sloped, blocking the heavy solar radiation. Windows have vertical and horizontal sun blockers allowing max ventilation and reducing the heat. The corridors have wall arts and installations made of coconut coir and other recycled materials making the whole school interesting, interactive and also sustainable at the same time.
