Project Title: “Tentacular Flow: The Crimson Confluence Convention Centre”
Tentacular Flow” is a biomorphic architectural concept that transforms the anatomy and intelligence of the giant squid into a fluid, connective spatial experience. Designed as a convention centre, this project becomes a literal and symbolic hub of global exchange, its tentacle-like extensions reaching into the site like synapses of a living mind.
To design a state-of-the-art convention center by using innovative steel construction
techniques that exemplify sustainability, functionality, and architectural excellence, while serving
as a dynamic space for diverse events.
To integrate steel into the project's design at multiple levels, from primary structure to building
envelope and tectonic details.
The building uses a space frame structural system for its tentacle-like extensions, allowing for long, curving spans with minimal columns.
