Project idea

The project focuses on the design of a convention center in Chennai, one of India’s thriving
cultural and business hubs. The center is envisioned as a flexible, multifunctional space capable
of hosting conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, and cultural events. The design must
emphasize the use of steel as a primary material, showcasing its structural versatility, aesthetic
potential, and environmental benefits.

Project description

This project is evolved from natural elements which acts as a architectural features.The roof which is inspired from mammal's ribcage,the entrance lobby has a skylight space which makes the sunlight enter the space ,the water fountain makes the user to experience a outdoor effect which as vegetation all around the space and etc.

Technical information

To design a state-of-the-art convention center in Chennai using innovative steel construction
techniques that exemplify sustainability, functionality, and architectural excellence, while serving
as a dynamic space for diverse events.
And also to integrate steel into the project's design at multiple levels, from primary structure to building
envelope and tectonic details.
