The concept: a landmark in time or a unit of time.
Every unit of time, the arrow travels a path around the circle. A sundial has a shadow instead of an arrow, and the time can be calculated based on the surrounding parameters. The built-up associative series can be traced in the compositional solution of the object: the arrow is dominant and interacts with the rectangular frame of the building.
The building consists of two levels, each of which has a different device and performs certain functions: the first is a work area with an area for unloading exhibits and further work with them, and hall No. 1 is located there (natural lighting prevails in it, while the work is protected from the influence of sunlight, as well as overheating); the second is an exhibition hall with two halls, a cafe and a recreation area (with mostly natural lighting).
The roof structure of the building is made of reinforced concrete, the exterior walls are also made of this material and are load-bearing. In the main hall of the first floor, columns with rolled profiles of I-beams in the roof structure are used to cover large spans.
