Project idea

Definition of the Project Theme

This project is about an Integrated Citizen Service (SIAC), which belongs to the Public Services line. The SIAC is a public facility that brings together various services of interest to citizens in the same physical space. The SIAC has four basic units: the Public Services unit (which concentrates government public services such as identity cards, etc.), the Justice unit (which concentrates services related to justice and human rights), the labor intermediation unit (which concentrates services related to finding jobs in the market) and finally the business unit (which concentrates business units). This project will be set up in a so-called residential area, on a 4.45 ha plot of land.

Problems

The area of intervention has deficits in the provision of public services, which is why its inhabitants are forced to travel long distances. In order to meet and mitigate the growing demand in the region, the architectural project for an Integrated Citizen Service is to be developed.

Inspiration

As this is a building designed to effectively serve its public service function, the spatial organization of the building came about through the concept of adaptation (based on the local urban fabric, the layout of some services in the region are adjacent to the public highway, establishing a strong relationship between the inhabitant and the public services, so we sought to express this organization in the proposal in such a way that the project could belong to the region and the region in the proposal) and through a conceptual Line, which would be nothing more than an intelligent corridor that establishes a relationship between the inhabitant and the city in a linear way. Specifically, in order to create a corridor completely made for pedestrians and without streets, it was decided to build it in the format of a completely straight line along 117.50m. This particular, reduces the environmental impact on the surroundings, and future mass constructions contribute 100% to the simplification of public services.

Need

In view of the critical situation in the area of intervention, it was realized that the issue is extremely relevant to the scenario in question, and Public Administrative Services are important segments in the process of growth and development of a country, as well as in the satisfaction of the inhabitants, and the lack of institutions of this kind in the region leaves the population outside the system. With the development of facilities of this nature, it is possible to meet the needs regardless of income, physical capacity or intelligence, providing spaces that allow easy access, transparency, accessibility, biophilia, and the humanization of space and the intensive use of technology.

Project description

This project has two parts, the negative floor (image 1-4) and the first floor (image 5).

The Negative Floor has an area of 6,747.27 m2 and consists of six units: the Justice Unit, the Bank Branch, the Business Unit, the Administration, the Auditorium and a Restaurant.

The first floor has a construction area of 2,148m2 and only houses the Public Services unit.

The solution of having two floors was due to the flow generated when there were only several services on a single floor, this treatment promoted the compacting and centralization of people in the same space, so with two floors there will be a greater decentralization of people in the space, differentiating different types of searches across the two floors.

Technical information

The building has a mixed structure.

The Negative Floor consists primarily of a reinforced concrete structure.
The first floor consists primarily of a mixed structure with hollow core slabs, covered with Alucobond free form.
