Project idea

The concept of this project revolves around creating a space that integrates the public into architecture, allowing them to comprehend our field in a simpler way. I have designed a form that is somewhat less complex, symbolizing the intricacies of architecture to the public. At the center of this complex form, there is a rotating central cube that signifies the simplicity inherent in the field. The project's form serves as a response to the challenge posed by the complexity of architecture. The architect simplifies this complexity for the public. Furthermore, the architectural journey of the project revolves around a cube, guiding users through various spaces with an architectural ambiance and framed views that highlight the sea and canal.

Project description

The project primarily serves as an enhancement of the historical site, endowed with a special ambiance. To achieve this, I've designed a form that seamlessly integrates into the site, creating a unique spatial atmosphere. The project is highly diverse, encompassing exhibitions, training workshops, and cultural spaces – each playing a crucial role. Consequently, I propose a glass design to attract people and foster an open project, with exhibitions both indoors and outdoors. The spaces are carefully framed to capture scenic views, complemented by secondary areas such as a cafeteria with a terrace providing a panoramic outlook of Halk Elwed's port, canal, and sea. Additionally, there are meeting spaces, making the project a public venture with a captivating socio-cultural connection.

Technical information

Regarding the structure, the project is currently in the preliminary design phase. Considering the structural aspect, it may involve a metal framework or possibly a simpler structure, such as a ribbed slab with columns and beams.
