Project idea

The Rychta is located in the picturesque village of Hodíškov in the Highlands and is one of the oldest buildings in the village. It was built in the 15th century and later rebuilt in the 19th century. The architectural design of the restoration of the Hodíškov fast house focuses on preserving the original historical character of the building and its surroundings. The aim is to create a quality and functional space for community and cultural activities of the village.

Project description

After the construction works, the historic building will serve as a community centre with a hall, municipal office, library, housing and accommodation. A clubhouse will also be located in the basement. The entire area will be used year-round by Hodíškovo residents and other visitors and tourists. Small events - birthday parties, small weddings, entertainment and a summer cinema - may also be held on the premises. A new staircase extension will be added to the building to link the hall and accommodation. The new extension will be designed as a timber beam structure with a gable roof.

The surroundings of the fast would be landscaped to increase its attractiveness to visitors. This would include, for example, planting new trees, resurfacing the paths to the hut, building parking spaces and creating a space for social events.

Technical information

The proposed refurbishment would retain the original brick structure but add modern features to enhance its functionality and safety. This includes, for example, replacing the old windows with new ones to provide thermal insulation and noise insulation. In addition, repairs and alterations would be made to the roof, waterproofing and new flooring in the utility area.
