Project idea

“Agro-Biotechnology : A Future Technology for Sustainable Agriculture” Linking sustainable modern technologies to agriculture and architecture to make the building closer to nature and human to achieve the main objective of the project, which is to promote sustainable agriculture.
So the main idea of the project is to integrate between indoor and outdoor "Inside the nature and the nature inside"'.

Project description

Due to global climate change and food insecurity, the world tends to use agricultural biotechnology for sustainable food production, and given the importance of food and the agricultural sector, the goal was to create a leading research institution that works to promote The role of modern biotechnology in agriculture, with a focus mainly on crop plants, aims to enrich and develop the cereal genetic content in Jordan, increase GDP and reach sustainability, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Technical information

The construction of the building depends mainly on the use of sustainable systems to be a green and environmentally friendly building, as the bio-orchard aims to address environmental problems, so some of the sustainable environmental systems that have been proposed include the use of local materials, optimal orientation and massing, natural ventilation, natural daylighting, and the use of shading devices.
