Project idea

Based on a tropical idea of how a house with natural heating should be in the region of Panama.
The Residential Architecture covers a large number of models and design styles that refer to the solution of cases such as the region where it is located, climate, topography, social, economic, etc..
This residence tries to adapt to the environment and the needs that arise. It is sought that this project is the most appropriate or adapted through various passive methods and other sustainable solutions. Understanding the situations that arise in a region like Panama with a humid tropical environment, the purpose is to apply techniques and methods to solve the needs of comfort and adaptability.

In order to create low energy consumption housing and at the same time create homes that do not represent a decontextualization of the environment where they are located.

The development of this housing segmented into 3 blocks linked by corridors that become paths between each block that allow the feeling of transition and feel the environment at its best.

Project description

The project consists of 3 main areas where the activities of a residence are developed: social area, work area, rest area. Three blocks were defined, each block was assigned an area.
Social area: entrance hall, vestibule, living - dining room, guest bathroom, central patio, terrace.
Work area: garage storage, garage, laundry storage, laundry room, kitchen and breakfast area, maid's room.
social area: living room, internal garden, master bedroom, mini living room, individual bathrooms, bedroom 1, bedroom 2.

The development of this housing segmented in 3 blocks joined by corridors which become paths between each block that allow the feeling of transition and feel the environment in its maximum expression.

Technical information

The project is built on a base of concrete piles, thus raising the house from the ground allowing a decrease in temperature, structurally it was designed with tubular profiles for columns and beams, the walls were designed based on typical wood panels from the area of Panama like teak and balsamic wood, the flooring is raised with teak decking.
The windows were designed with glass lattices and the implementation of aluminum lattices, metal railings.
