Project idea

Society nowadays makes humans and their minds besieged by a hectic pace of lifestyle, physically surrounded by the closing space, in the urban area being concretized, with the vehicle and industrial buildings, ...People, therefore, find it hard to get a physically and mentally health well developed in that environment.
when we went to survey the site, we found that a lot of areas had been occupied for the wrong function. Due to the resize of some startup parties and companies, they spread more extensively than the capacity of the traditional office room. So it has been a disorganized arrangement in general functioning.
so we opted for the second floorplan for the small-scale startup and individual applicant coworking zone arrangement. By the way, e space on the rooftop has community activities and outdoor events outdoor function
More than that, technology has posed a tremendous challenge: Artificial intelligence could grow massively and be foreseen to replace humans in the workplace or on a larger scale. So what if humans don't get have power enough to control AI in the future when they feel stressed, do not have good health, or degrading in emotion and creativity which is being considered to be an essential thing that AI doesn't have?
And so we believe that if humans have been living in a favorable environment, we could fully develop minds and health to get the most powerful creativity and imagination.
Standing as architect students, we want to figure out a solution that brings human back to the most comfortable space for mind and health development that promote creativity and imagination ability.

Project description

DESIGN GOAL
Flexibility in module, and multi-functional space connection with nature, sunlight, visibility, and people.
Improving the living and working space standards for humans.
MODUL DEVELOPING
Based on the condition of the old building it was solid and divided into many closed rooms we aim to create a flexible model that is multifunctional for the coworking space
we developed the module with the green core unit centered and surrounded by comfort and leisure activity spaces and combined it with some hidden service functioning for mutual use. So we finally got a variant of the module.
CONNECTION
In the past, human was always related to nature. Humans get healing and calming in the best sense when connect with nature, which helps their mental and physical health get better. And we bring the greenery aspect from the outside into the inside of the building by extending the inside corridor, dropping some green seeds let nature blend into every part of the coworking space spontaneously!
Apart from the former type of model, we also arrange 2 other types of working and workshop modules along 2 sides, those types of modules could also be replaceable.
The interaction between people with people and people with nature is the key that helps the creativity and ability of humans reach their peak.
COMFORT
The green core plays as a transition space that connects and divides the working space with the public spacing of the building.
We push out the louver for an extra small green corridor at the facade. comfort in vision and physical condition.

Technical information

We used the lourver system for the facade as a thermal comfort solution. We adapted Archicad software to build our 3D model and Lumion software to render. Furthermore, we used ArchiCAD to run the EcoDesigner Energy Evaluation offers a built-in workflow for performing dynamic building energy calculations on projects. Through this energy calculation, we could estimate the improvement of the renovation project compare to the existing building.
