Project description

(i) The cars of the museum are supported by parking in such place (which has already caused damage) due to the road's narrowness so that the residents of the neighborhood are not inconvenienced. The place is a useless place under a flyover bridge named ‘Hanif Flyover’ within 500 meters of the site project. After parking the visitor's car there, they can start their journey to the museum by taking horse carriages. This horse-drawn carriage was the standard mode of transportation in old Dhaka in the 19th century.

(ii) It has been decided to reopen the 1967 entrance for visitors and a tradition from the 19th century is accentuated by drawing Alpana at the entryway, so that visitors can experience the historical customs.

Within one kilometer of the location, there are no public parks with playgrounds for kids. From the viewpoint, the museum's grounds, library, cafe, and temporary exhibition are all open for everyone.
