Project idea

This building is located in the Ural region in Russia which is designed in order to achieve balanced interactions with nature, flora, and fauna, and understanding architecture. they try to be compact buildings, versatile and surpassing the very trendy idea of "Glamping" by proposing much more than a simple shelter, from a small habitat to implant in extreme landscapes, such as the slope of a mountain, a forest, the edge of a lake or a river, etc…

Project description

there are also elements of interaction with the site, such as decks, walkways attempting to limit the intervention to a few square meters around the module and then preserve the landscape intact. With the strategy of locating the cabin on the ground, the aim is to achieve close communion with the landscape, reducing the footprint left by the built object on the site to the minimum possible. Three large openings provide different landscape views. From bedrooms and living rooms, you can see over the entire valley and the lake. the refuge was raised from the ground, creating a space under it, where it is possible to do outside activities. each building consists of two individual shelters, which they have a small kitchen, a tiny living room and master bedrooms. right one is a two-story building and the left just have one floor. They could be called as a transparent refuge in the forest.
