Project idea
Public library is a public space. In this modern era of socialism, people love to learn through socializing and communicating with each other. It is very important for a public library to be a space with interactive learning opportunities because people not only come here to read the books but also to have some refreshment.
Besides the main library functions, there are scopes for public gathering, meeting and some other facilities as a public space.
Some of the spaces are connected both horizontally and vertically to enhance socializing.
The main idea of this project was creating a living room of the city that attracts people, helps to introduce with each other and strengthens the bonding between them, provides some spaces to enjoy and various types of learning opportunities.
Project description
Education is the backbone of a nation and Public Library is a place where knowledge is free. Being 'Rajshahi Divisional Public Library' one of the five divisional public libraries in Bangladesh, it has a great impact on the people of a large community as well as of the whole country.
