Project idea

Our project originates from the intention of unifying an organic environment with a simple and pure form, "El Prisma". It is oriented prioritizing the views of the sea and seeking to overcome the slopes of the land. With a gesture, it is born on the mountain and leans subtly on the complex's central square, allowing users easy access to all the services. In this way, a building that stands out in its surroundings is conceived, generating a landmark that is attractive both for the inhabitants of the area and for tourists.

Project description

The project develops from west to east, beginning with a private area, the hotel, towards the public area, the shopping center and main square.
Its accesses are differentiated, one for the hotel, more private and introverted, and the other, public for the shopping center.
The project seeks to connect in a inclined axis the building with the coast by a chairlift, culminating in a pier under the sea.
The building called PRISMA, has 2 levels, the first corresponds to a market and gastronomic area, the second level to a commercial area.

Technical information

We want to create a duality between whats opened and the amazing views to the sea. To make it we utilized tiles, making a courting wall with an particular structure.
Using a characteristic material of the area such as the Tile, it intends to make a reinterpretation of the constructive techniques of the surrounding context.
We take advantage of the building’s extensive roof to apply sustainable resources such as solar panels, water harvesting and green roof.
