STARIGRAD - PROBLEMALIZATION OF THE TASK

-Terrain conditions (slopes, rocky soil, difficult work...)
-Using the space outside the summer season
- Weather conditions (wind...)
-The way of fitting the volume of built objects with the context of the location (without impairing the quality of life of the inhabitants)
- Ways to improve working conditions in an archaeological site

Project description

STARIGRAD - TASKING THEM

-Emphasizing the isolation/closure of the location (closed by the Adriatic Sea and the Velebit Mountains) as an impression of the location - MERO construction
-Protection from the wind, activities in the winter period for tourists - revival of the location outside the summer season
-Synchronization of the traditional/indigenous with the modern
- Adoption of the raster for the placement of construction pillars - generating urban planning according to the programmatic needs of the buildings
-Possibility of using the assembly-dismantling structure of the space and the use of solar sustainable panels

Technical information

MERO construction in simbiosis with traditional contstruction materials of Starigrad buildings
