Project idea

For communication and flow of knowledge are key, the project`s
main idea is to innovate a new solution to fill the gap of communication
between generations in Lebanon. The concept was extracted from the importance of the dependency of generations, where the
elder ones communicate with the younger ones and vice versa. The approach of solving this problem by introducing a brand-new Idea and the first typology of its kind in the Middle East, a Multi-Generational
Center, The main function of this multi-generational center is to reunite the different generations with the purpose of practicing arts, sports, housing, etc

Project description

I chose to focus on arts , and the outdoor style
where there are places for past dances,
new dances and other places that are allocated for the flow of knowledge between them both. Another place for past music
and new music and other places allocated for flow of knowledge. last but not least, a venue to resurrect the art of storytelling
which was very famous and faded with time
The style used in the outdoors are pixels , the main idea is to transform all outdoor spaces into Grids as in pixels , and each pixel have a different function than the other one

Technical information

The Complex have two construction systems , the ground floor were designed by flat slab, and the first floor were constructed by Steel vierendeel . The outdoor spaces have timber structures
