REVIVAL OF THE BEIRUT PORT TROUGH THE PROMOTION OF CULTURAL AND SOCIO-ECONOMICAL ACTIVITIES

Project description

By Creating a diversified futuristic port center that engages with the public needs cultural, recreational, leisure, and commercial operating flawlessly within the seven main operational areas
Revive and reuse of containers affected by the explosion in the provision of offices and houses for the inhabitants of the port and also serving as memorial agent for the catastrophe, this will also pave a way in the provision of facilities for vocational education with workshops , Lebanese people will be training in various vocational careers of reuse the materials affected by the explosion some of the manufactured materials will be displayed in exhibition and market port , vocational education and workshops It will contribute to raising community employment opportunities and thus raising individual income to achieve their goal of achieving well-being

Technical information

Revival of the explosion remnants and the provision of storage area for shops around the passenger terminal aesthetically designed and complimented by the survived silos beautified by vegetation to give a sense of past event with the aid of parametric sheet elements with the Lebanese pattern to reflect the historical style and culture of the people and becoming the first point of tourist attraction to the visitors of Beirut.

Provision of new storage spaces (silos) that exhibits the properties of explosion reduction and like-minded advantages, Provision of sporting activities to cover up the deficit of the lack of armful recreational activities within the area,

Attainment of safe navigation and proper provision of emergency evacuation services While ensuring harmony between the environment and the activities to be carried on site
