Project idea

The project is a showcase of the natural systems process, particularly, the right building mode mimicking this side of the BOUREGREG Riverbank. The project base is towards the end of the lower valley, an excellent natural area that brings together an agricultural plain, a wide arm of the river, and some wetlands, therefore an ecosystem of its own. The purpose of the Social Center is, firstly, to respond to the needs of the currently marginalized artisanal fishermen community, create a shelter and a meeting point to the population around it to play-visit camp-and Learn their passionate interests so to create an independently generated economy. The main goal is to protect this area and this community within a prosperous Structure.

Project description

The suggestion illuminates the architectural space and creates the necessary conditions to accommodate craftsmen and fishermen marginalized activities. The function of this center is joined to another sensitive dimension that attributes a distinctive identity to the designed space. The control of social/commercial and learning in an architectural natural environment needs some detailed and precise characteristics about aperture and walls features. The multiplicity of these characteristics is faced with the accuracy and the certainty of the design available to serve the visitors and the target community.

Technical information

We propose a design that seeks to minimize the negative environmental impact of the project through improved efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy, development space, and the ecosystem at large. The sustainable process through the placement to reduce the consumption of energy, the use of recycled materials, so to help promote the locally available resources.
